Inviting you to my first Blogathon…
Read on movie bloggers and / or Dallas TV Series fans, and note you DON’T have to have seen the series.
Total Ultimate Dallas Opening, Fonjil and photos © Lorimar.
I’ve recently signed up for a few blogathons and think it’s a lovely way for us entertainment bloggers to collaborate with each other and learn more about what other sites and films are out there… so I’ve decided to host my own blogathon.
The topic of the blogathon is Darlin’ Dallasers and it will be held for one day only on the 21st of September 2016. It will be on what would have been Larry Hagman’s 85th Birthday – that is the man who played J.R. Ewing – so the reviews are on movies, TV movies or programmes with Hagman or any of the cast from the original Dallas from 1978 to 1991, you can duplicate the star AND the movie.
All links to reviews must be in by 12 September, Linda Gray’s Birthday! (Linda Gray of course being his screen wife Sue Ellen). Of course, regulars to my blog will know this is one of my favourite subjects as I refer to it quite a bit! So non-regulars if you want to know which Dallas stars movies and TV I’ve discussed so far, hit the search button on the front page!
My choice is 5 Patrick Duffy Performances BUT don’t forget you can submit more than one review per actor or actress. But any review topics from before and including 2016 are welcome! So add your choice here. I’ll then message you to confirm I’ve added you to the blogathon. You must refer to the actor or actress’s part in Dallas as part of the review and along with your suggestion and a couple of sentences about their character. You can send me your link anytime before the 12th of September.
I look forward to hearing from you… those chosen will be mentioned in a post about this blogathon with a link to their blog on the 21st. You can also use old blog posts! I’ve made a few natty pictures for your blogs to advertise the blogathon too which you can download and put on your site.
Please note it is stars from the original series only not the 2012 remake. So you have 13 seasons’ worth of characters and actors and actresses to choose from! For a list of stars, guests and co-stars from Wikipedia from all seasons… CLICK HERE and take your pick!

Larry Hagman directed the Son of Blob. How about I offer a Take on that fine piece of cinema camp. Aka beware the blob.

If you’re still taking choices for George Kennedy, I’d like to review Cool Hand Luke. I’ve also got an entire podcast dedicated to the Airport franchise, also starring him. Would this work too?
