Announcing the Here’s Jack Blogathon, to celebrate Jack Nicholson’s 80th Birthday on 22 April 2017.

Top 10 Jack Nicholson Movies, THE firewall

Jack Nicholson, one of my favourite actors celebrates his 80th birthday on 22nd April this year. So what better way to celebrate his birthday than with a blogathon. Nicholson has been dazzling us in the movies since the late 1950s. He’s also won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his movies As Good As It Gets (1997) and One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest (1975) and a Best Supporting Actor for Terms of Endearment (1993).

The blogathon will be held on his birthday and the blogathon posts will be published in posts on the 22, 23 and 24 April.

If you want to join this blogathon, here are the rules.

  1. You can review ANY film or TV show starring Jack Nicholson, including cameos as long as you mention the part of the film with his cameo AND include a clip or picture of it.
  2. I will allow two duplicates for each movie or TV Show, but no more.
  3. Review choices can be added as a comment or you can message me here – or use my contact me page. But please add the name and URL of your blog along with your choice of movie.

  1. This is a great idea, and thanks for giving us so much time to choose something to write. I promise to find one of his movies to talk about count me in.

  2. I’ll do a post on As Good As It Gets about the greatest Jack moments! As I’ve already reviewed it. I am going to use the build up to re-watch and review the films I have not yet!

  3. YYou mean none of these other nutcases picked “Cuckoo’s Nest”? What are they afriaid of, they’ll find out more about themselves than they are willing to learn? Well, I’m not afraid. Bring on the stuttering mama’s boy and the giant mute indian.

  4. Hey there Weegie. ( L0L! ) Got your notice about your blogathon. Thanxx so much for the invite. I won’t be able to join in this go ’round I’m afraid, but look forward to reading your entries. Much success with it, Gill. And Happy New Year!!

  5. Finally got the time to think it over — if I may, I’d like to write about The Little Shop of Horrors (1960). Thanks!

    • Awesome! Thank you so much! It has been a long time since I’ve seen this movie so it gives me a good reason to rewatch it! I will do my best to find out! Also, I apologize for posting twice – didn’t see my post go through the first time lol.

  6. Hi Gill. I just I would drop by to invite you to participate in my new blogathon. The link is below with more details.

I’ve just returned to blogging after taking a long hiatus due to the passing of my aunty on New Years Eve. I just seen this blogathon announcement, and will definitely join, as its one of my favorite blogathons. I’m just mulling over a few villains.

On my return, I’ve announced another blogathon, and you are cordially invited to participate. The link is below with more details.

  7. I saw your comment on my blog. Sign me up for The Cry Baby Killer, which was his 1st film.
    Thank you!

  8. I was thinking about doing The Departed but it looks like no one has claimed A Few Good Men yet, so I think I will do that one instead.

Love your thoughts... but only if they are spoiler free!
