For your consideration, I’m adding another blogathon to February’s lineup…
With an actress approaching her 94th birthday, and 75th year in showbusiness.
Angela Lansbury – Top 30 Highest Rated Movies Top 10 Charts
I’m proud to announce my first blogathon for 2019. And this time on a subject close to everyone’s heart, the wonderful actress Angela Lansbury. This is in the Adoring Angela Lansbury blogathon. She’s been appearing in films since 1944, and 2019 will commemorate her 75 years in show business so what better way for us bloggers to honour this British-American-Irish Dame, than a blogathon.
I’ll be accepting posts and podcasts (and recipes and anagrams… you know who you are!) on the films, TV and stage appearances of this lovely actress… or if you want to write about her and her life off-screen, please do.
If you need to check out her filmography and more of her appearances CLICK HERE and for the Who’s Doing What page click HERE. This is to find the blogs and the chosen reviews for this blogathon. For my choice, I’m reviewing her in The Manchurian Candidate (1962).
I do hope that you can join me and celebrate this lovely actress in style…
Here are the rules…
Love you fabulous bloggers to join me….or anyone else who wants to celebrate Angela Lansbury in this tribute…
- You can review ANY of her films, theatre or TV appearances.
- I will allow just three duplicates for each topic, movie or TV Show. I will allow unlimited duplicates for her stage appearances.
- Review choices can be added as a comment on this page or you can contact me on my Contact Me page – either way please add the name and URL of your blog along with your movie or TV choice. Or you can send me a Direct Message on Twitter.
- I won’t accept posts that are uncomplimentary or disrespectful to Angela Lansbury, her life or her work.
- Add your Twitter handle so I can promote your post.
- You can only use new posts or new reviews.
- You can also add podcasts to her or her work but only if you send me the podcast link through my Contact Me page.
- A full list of blogs, podcasters and review choices will be posted on a separate page and updated regularly.
- Send your link to your post /podcast / video to me on the days of the blogathon.
- Have fun!
The banners (but feel free to make your own)…
I hope to hear from you soon with your ideas to celebrate lovely Angela Lansbury in style…

You beat me to it. I was planning on hosting an Angela Lansbury Blogathon, as I’ve met her twice. Did you want me to co-host with you, as it’s an event that I was going to host.

Thanks for the offer, but this one of the few solo ones for me this year. Would love you to write about when you met her if you have the time.

I will still host an Angela Lansbury Blogathon as I had initially plan too, but I will host it over her birthday in October.

Great to hear that, there are so many good films she deserves a double bill. Are you still keen on doing one on Prison movies and TV??
LikeLike
I’m glad you don’t mind. Yeah I still want to host the prison one, but I won’t be able to do it in May. It would have to be June probably.

Those dates are good with me. It allows me time from when I get back from my overseas holiday to prepare. For the Angie blogathon I will write meeting Angela Lansbury twice and seeing her live in “Driving Miss Daisy”.
