Welcome to Day 1 of the Shelley Winters Blogathon…

 

Celebrating all things Shelley Winters on the first day with Shelley in horror films, drama-comedy and more.

 

 

 

Way back in September, my blogging buddy Poppity and I invited you to join our first joint blogathon. The subject under the spotlight was Shelley Winters, with a shed load of you signing up to write about amazing array of Shelley’s work.. be it on TV, in the movies or her books and more. We’ve a great selection of her movies today with Shelley with her co-stars including James Mason, Belinda J Montgomery and Debbie Reynolds.

  1. The Poseidon Adventure was my introduction to Shelley Winters, at the time I had no idea just how many classic films she had appeared in. You’ve got a nice eclectic mix of films for the first day of her blogathon. Until I saw Vinnie’s entry I had no idea that Shelley was in Pete’s Dragon. I haven’t seen that film since I was a wee nipper.
