US Marines of all sorts for Day 2 of this blogathon…
We’ve had film and real life acting Marines in this inspiring blogathon.
This whirlwind of a blogathon is now on Day 2 and the final post after Day 1’s fabulous contributions. It may be Day 2, but I’ll be still adding posts for any running late and allowing for those different time zones.
You are in for a treat today as I woke up to more than a few more entries from some blogging stars with marines of all shapes and sizes. Yesterday’s post can be found if you CLICK HERE... but here are today’s entries with bloggers from here, there and everywhere.
As this is the final blogathon day I’d like to thank Dubsism for inviting me to co-host with him for this blogathon. I’d also like to thank all the lovely bloggers who have joined us in celebrating the US Marines in the movies, I’ll be adding comments to all your posts this week.
Pfeiffer Pfilms and Meg Movies adds a review of Dangerous Minds (1995)…
My co-host Dubsism adds a second post on Let’s Make it Legal (1951)…
Sean Munger tells more on The Great Santini (1979)…
Crítica Retrô enlightens us about The Blue Eagle (1926)…
The Oak Drive-In shares a post on Halls of Montezuma (1950)…
The Midnite Drive-In tells us about Full Metal Jacket (1987)…
MovieRob adds a quadruple bill with The Split (1968), What Price Glory (1952) and Return to Tarawa – The Leon Cooper Story (2009) and First to Fight (1967)…
and Taking Up Room adds her post on Tell it to the Marines (1951)…
That’s all so far and there’s more to come, which will be added here as I get them. And tune in towards the end of this month to learn more about my first blogathon of 2020. The subject is my poll winner’s choice of the actor James Garner, another acting gent who fought for his country.
I’ll also tell you more about my lovely special guest for this blogathon and there’s a wee clue in this picture, but not of the acting kind…
