Is it the last of those Vincent Price reviews?
Read on for more posts about the celebrated actor, cook and art collector.
It’s with much sadness that today is officially the final day of the Vincent Price blogathon. More than thirty of you added reviews. This page also includes those posted late last night. This vast number of entries so far shows an overwhelmingly positive response to this amazing actor.
Vincent Price has been tributed with anything and everything from cocktails to anagrams. Many writers have made sure that we don’t forget his many varied film, TV and radio appearances. Price appears in genres from biopic to period drama and horror to sci-fi. His singing career has got a mention, as well as those artists who have written about him in song.
I’ve been reading all those wonderful entries and learned much more about the actor, his works and many of you adding those stories behind them. All the posts have shown just how much this actor is cherished by us all. I’d like to thank you all for entering this blogathon. Also thanks to those of you who have read posts and supported this blogathon and its contributors on Twitter and Facebook.
I’d also like to thank my wonderful co-host Barry for joining me in this first our joint blogathon of the 2020s. It’s been a pleasure to collaborate with you once again. Due to our time zone difference, you may still have time to enter his competition with details HERE. The winner will be revealed in Barry’s Day 3 recap post published later today.

You have got me wanting to watch more Kenny Everett too. Remember the Hammer and Amicus blogathon is out later this year of you review these.

I tried but failed to get my entry done in time 😦 I’ll probably finish it now at my leisure and link it to the blogathon, but it may be a bit (I shifted gears and ended up writing about part of Price’s genealogical background). I’m enjoying reading the entries, though!!

I was hoping you’d say that, I do enjoy those genealogical themed posts you write on celebrities, send me a link when you’ve finished it and I can add it here.

I can imagine it would be. Do I remember correctly that you said he’s related to you..?

Yes, he’s a very distant cousin (VERY distant, but I’ll take it!). More to come of that in the post! 😉
