#AllPosts
It’s Day 1 of 3 days celebrating those films, acting talents and more…
Read some reviews of horror and non-horror movies from all time and space.
It’s finally here, and the blogathon you’ve all been waiting for… It’s Day 1 of Barry – from Cinematic Catharsis – and my near-annual trek through those wonderfully Hammer and Amicus movies with the company of some great bloggers. And this year, we’ve so many unique entries of the Non-horror genre kind and the horror kind from both those prestigious productions… There are a massive 33 entries (yay) with TV shows, recipes, films and a book. So do tune in over the next few days to discover some fabulous writers and their posts…
If you are a blogger and now feel inspired to enter a sparkling new post or two, the rules are HERE. Consider yourself in this blogathon in-crowd only once I or my co-host confirm your choice and remember it’s only two duplicates and two entries per person. No more than this as we won’t add or promote your extra posts. If Hammer and Amicus are not your things, this is Barry and my final blogathon for this year, but we’ll be back.
We are tributing not one, but two actors next year so watch this space in 2022. To give you a clue or two… both these actors have both featured in these films, both are English actors and have also starred in a few film reviews in this blog. And that’s the only clues I’m giving you… Also, this is not my final blogathon for this year, but I will be announcing my final joint one in less than 10 days with my co-hostess, a wonderful podcaster and blogger, so tune in soon to see just who we bonded over in our blogathon topic…
And a final word or two to you bloggers… do remember that Barry and I have totally opposite time zones so your post may appear over two days or one day depending on when we get your post. And I will be commenting on your post as always so if you don’t see a comment by the end of next week, please check your spam.
And now that the housekeeping is done and dusted, it’s now on with the show… and click on those blue titles to read those reviews…
Let’s kick things off with my double bill, with both entries written by wee me at Realweegiemidget Reviews… with a Hammer non-horror mystery in The Lady Vanishes (1979);
and my post on the book, Supper with the Stars with your Host Vincent Price (2021) by Peter Fuller and Jenny Hammerton… a book on those films, actors, actresses and their recipes from Vincent Price and his co-stars…
Chris from Angelman’s Place adds his thoughts on The Witches (1966) with Joan Fontaine…
Next up is my fabulous co-host, Barry of Cinematic Catharsis with Demons of the Mind (1972)…
Cinema Essentials shares his reflections on all of those Amicus Anthologies...
The Spirochaete Trail adds their take on The Beast Must Die (1974)…
John V’s Eclectic Avenue waxes lyrical on Captain Kronos, Vampire Hunter (1974)….
A Shroud of Thoughts tells us more about Cloudburst (1951)…
Michael from Maniacs and Monsters adds his views on The Damned (1963)…
and John from Tales from the Freakboy Zone adds his insights on Ring-A-Ding Rhythm (1962)…
Tune in for more posts as I’ll add them as I get them and tune in tomorrow for more of these great entries…

Hi, Gill. I’ll have to withdraw from this blogathon as I’m too busy with some college tasks. I’m finishing my degree and I have a lot of things to do in this last semester. I hope you understand.
