NEWS… Announcing the Odd Or Even Blogathon with me and Taking Up Room

#AllPosts

It’s Blogathon Time for me and Rebecca from Taking Up Room again…

A nice and easy Blogathon to ease you into 2022, as you come to play our little game of chance.

Apologies now for any horrifying flashbacks, but the inner primary school teacher within me has burst out like that Alien movie with this blogathon for 2022. My glamorous assistant Rebecca from Taking Up Room and I are holding our annual January blogathon called The Odd Or Even Blogathon and we want you to join us…

And the topic has you simply reviewing a film or TV episode or TV Movie released on an odd or an even numbered year. If like me you were confused for years after school ended, odd and even are beautifully described by Splashlearn here…

A number which is divisible by 2 and generates a remainder of 0 is called an even number. An odd number is a number which is not divisible by 2. The remainder in the case of an odd number is always “1”.

The blogathon will be run from the 20th to the 23rd of January 2022. But here’s the twist… we want two review choices and we will pick your choice at random…

  • You can review ANY films, TV Movies or TV series BUT remember to add your choices of review for a choice of review from an ODD and an EVEN year in your request. We will tell you which one is to be reviewed, so you must be prepared to write on either of them.
  • Once we get your reviews, we’ll decide on what your review(s) is to be by tossing a coin with Heads for Odds and Tails for Evens, and then we’ll confirm your post. Then it’s over to you…
  • If you want to add two reviews, this means you send us four possible choices… you will be assigned your odd or even choices ie with two odd and two even years.

Here are the rules…

  • We are not allowing any duplicates as this topic is pretty huge. You can however write about those review topics previously mentioned, but only if they are in a list or retrospective review. Lists should have all odd or all even dates.
  • Review choices can be added as a comment on this page or you can contact me on my Contact Me page  – please add the name of your blog along with your choice of movie or TV choice. Or you can contact Rebecca at Taking Up Room HERE
  • We won’t accept posts that are uncomplimentary or disrespectful.
  • You can only add two posts for the blogathon.
  • Add your Twitter username so we can promote your post.
  • A full list of blogs and review choices will be posted on a separate page and updated regularly.
  • Only original and never before published posts will be accepted.
  • Send the link to your post link to Rebecca or me on the days of the blogathon.
  • Note we will be publishing all the links on both my WordPress blog and Rebecca’s on each day of the blogathon, this may be on different days due to those different time zones! But your link will be published on both of our blogs.
  • We are not accepting derogatory posts.

  1. Put me down for this one! Evens or odds, either choice I’d be happy with: The 7th Voyage of Sinbad ( 1958 ) or The Barefoot Executive ( 1971 ). – Constance ( Silver Scenes )
