BLOGATHON… The Finale for the (Roger) Cormanverse Blogathon

One last day before the wrap up, unless you are in a completely different time zone…

Returning for nearly the last time to the blogathon and Roger Corman’s career.

Over the last two days, bloggers from here, there and everywhere have joined me and Barry from Cinematic Catharsis in our blogging celebration of Roger Corman and his movies. And having read all those posts so far I can recommend you do the same, with some great reviews and film recommendations that will cater for everyone…

So far we’ve had eight terrific entries… and in a wee recap for Day 2, bloggers brought us movies with stars such as Dorothy Malone, Jack Nicholson, Vincent Price and Ray Milland. These four acting names are just a few of the many, many talents that worked with Roger Corman. Behind the camera in all the film reviews to date, we’ve also spotted Francis Ford Coppola and touched on the work of a Coppola collaborator, screenwriter John Sayles.

And there are more today, starting with four reviews that appeared in the wee small hours as I dreamt of killer alligators, car chases, dentist visits and having x-ray eyes…  and do keep tuning in as this may be the final day, but I’m planning a wrap-up post tomorrow with more entries.. as we have a few latecomers…

Motion Picture Gems kicks things off with his thoughts about Munchies (1987)…

Diary of A Movie Maniac joins the Cormanverse party with Love Letters (1983)…

Taking Up Room creates a buzz with The Wasp Woman (1959)…

18cinemalane adds her views on The Pit and the Pendulum (1961)…

Toni Ruberto delves into Roger Corman’s work as a producer with the Sharktopus films and other Syfy channel movies between 2004-15…

The Classic Movie Muse takes us to when Corman worked with Gregory Peck in The Gunfighter (1950)…

and do tune in HERE for posts on Day 1 and HERE for Day 2 and remember to tune in for the final wrap up post tomorrow where I will add the last of the entries…
