BLOGATHON… So Long and Farewell to the Other Than A Bond Girl Blogathon

Final Day possibly, more lovely Bond girls probably…

The last of those blogathon posts (for now), with reviews of some movies and TV starring actresses from the James Bond franchise.

Over the last two days – and today – the lovely Gabriela from Pale Writer and I have been celebrating a number of actresses who joined James Bond in his many on-screen escapades on the big screen. Be it with Connery or Brosnan, Lazenby or Dalton or Moore or Craig… these ladies have lit up the screen alongside those actors in this franchise and in their roles as Bond girls, often leave Bond shaken and stirred.

Despite Diana Rigg only appearing in just one movie with James Bond, it seems that George Lazenby’s on-screen Bond girl – and the only one so far that married this enigmatic British spy – is the actress who’s inspired the most reviews. So tune in HERE for a double bill of reviews of Diana Rigg’s movies – including one from my co-host.

We have also had both film and TV reviews featuring Monica Bellucci, Teri Hatcher and Luciana Paluzzi, all here on  Day 1. Today in Day 3 so far, posts have Caroline Munro, one of the many actresses who appeared with Roger Moore joining this blogathon… and another double bill from Diana Rigg (so far) with two very different roles to those you read about in yesterday’s posts. And Sophie Marceau also makes an appearance…

So as we are expecting a few more reviews, tune in tomorrow for a wrap-up and the last of these posts… now on to today’s posts… and click on those titles in blue to read those lovely posts from these talented writers.

Moon in Gemini adds the first of those Diana Rigg reviews with a television role with this actress in Game of Thrones (2011-19)…

Criticia Retro returns to a 1970s role in The Abominable Dr Phibes (1971) for Caroline Munro, who starred with Roger Moore as James Bond in The Spy Who Loved Me

18 Cinema Lane discovers Diana Rigg in another Agatha Christie all-star cast adaptation in Witness for the Prosecution (1982)…

Fletch Talks adds his thoughts about Beyond the Clouds (1995) which stars Sophie Marceau who starred with Pierce Brosnan as Bond in The World Is Not Enough…

And tune in soon, as there are more posts to come…
