Celebrating the great British actor, Michael Caine in his 86th year…
Come and celebrate the Cockney actor in his Movies, TV, Books and more.
A year can go quickly, as around this time last year I unleashed my first blogathon celebrating the wonderful acting talent of Michael Caine. This is to celebrate this fabulous Cockney actor’s 85th birthday. As Mr Caine proved such a hit with so many wonderful tributes, I decided to make this a yearly tribute.
Without further ado… (do people really say that now?)… I’m announcing the Second Marvellous Michael Caine Blogathon. This year due to the number of blogathons happening in March, I’ll be holding it from April 24th to 26th instead, so you’ve plenty of time to decide on what to write and write that post.
As usual, I will be accepting all kinds of tributes including recipes, anagrams and podcasts and your wonderful reviews on all things Michael Caine.
I hope you hear from you with your ideas… and now down to those rules…
- You can review ANY film or TV show starring Michael Caine, including cameos as long as you mention the part of the film with his cameo AND include a video clip or picture of it. Or if you want to review his books, that’s ok with me too.
- I will allow three duplicates for each topic be it a movie, book or TV Show, but no more. I might be more lenient where books are to be reviewed as he hasn’t written as much.
- Review choices can be added as a comment on this page or you can contact me on my Contact Me page – either way please add the name and URL of your blog along with your choice of movie / book or TV choice.
- Or if you want to write about Caine, tell me what your topic will be. I won’t accept posts that are uncomplimentary or respectful to this man and his life and work.
- Add your Twitter or Facebook pages so I can promote your post.
- You can also add podcasts about his work but only if you send me the podcast link through my Contact Me page.
- A full list of blogs, podcasters and review choices will be posted on a separate page and updated regularly.
- A maximum of 3 posts per entrant will be allowed.
A full list of Michael Caine’s movies can be found if you CLICK HERE and his Books and more… HERE

I’m choosing:
Realweegiemidget Reviews… Deathtrap (1982)
As usual, the posts chosen so far will be added in a separate post, so check it out to see what’s been taken before you add your choice…
Here are my banners….
Looking forward to hearing from you all soon with what I’m sure will be some wonderful reviews or post suggestions…
Wonderful!! 😁 I would love to do ‘Blame it on Rio’ and perhaps another I have not yet seen, in which case I’ll let you know. 😊

Sounds great! I won’t read your review until after, then. This is a film that I discovered by chance and which I really adore. 😁

Caine is good in it – do have a soft spot for his 1980s movies.

Thanks for letting me have “Victory”…or “Escape to Victory” for those of you outside of North America. It seems like a “natural” for the “sports” guy, doesn’t it?
I just updated my Blog-A-Thon page to include it!

I’ve reviewed this one too (do tend to do a lot on Caine’s work) and know its perfect Dubsism review fodder. Hope you enjoy it!
