NEWS… Its the Final of Final Days for the Christopher Lee Blogathon

#AllPosts

The final day with some more fabulous posts…

Saying goodbye in style as we tribute Christopher Lee in our blogathon, one more time.

The bonus day is here and kicks off with some marvellous posts from last night, but more on these in a wee while. As it’s Sally Field thank you time. Firstly, a huge posthumous thanks must go to the man who made this all possible, Christopher Lee. It’s clear from the 22 posts so far that he’s inspired many bloggers in his rich career in film and television. These contributions are just the tip of the iceberg of his impressive filmography, and all with Lee making that film or TV show so much better with a small or leading role.

I’d next like to thank all of you who joined us in the last few days, as a blogger or just by reading these well written posts. I’ve really enjoyed reading about Mr Lee in his versatile career, and I am sure that I am not the only one who has added a few titles to my to watch list. This is in a large part due to your heartwarming reviews.

Do read these reviews if you haven’t already. Look no further as they can be found here on Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3.

Speaking of Barry, I would like to thank my Cinematic Catharsis co-host for choosing the topic for this well deserved tribute. Also thanks for his constant support, and for literally taking over when I crash out with those wildly different time zones.

And finally, in another shameless plug. The good news for you bloggers, if you feel a potential post brewing, is that my co-host Barry and I will be bringing back the Hammer-Amicus blogathon in October. So tune in later this year for an announcement, if that’s your thing… and remember they didn’t just do horror films, as they did lots of great TV series and contributed to other genres…

Now onto those final reviews,

First off is Cat from Thoughts All Sorts and her thoughts of all sorts on Hannie Caulder (1972)…

Eric from Diary of a Movie Maniac returns with his second post in Dracula and Son (1976)…

Michaela from Love Letters to Old Hollywood adds The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes (1970)…

Vinnie from Vinnieh adds Christopher Lee in Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1965)…

My Darlin Husband concludes the blogathon with his take on The Man with the Golden Gun (1974)…

Keep your eyes peeled here for more Christopher Lee posts as there are even more to come, and I will be adding posts here as I get them…
