NEWS… It’s Day Two for Celebrating the Fourth Hammer and Amicus Blogathon

#AllPosts

We’re back and ready for more wonderful tributes…

It’s time for a spooky bedtime read – or maybe not as we return to those production houses.

So it’s Day 2 of the Hammer-Amicus Blogathon IV already, which came after an opening day with all sorts of movies of the horror and non-horror kind from Amicus and Hammer. I’d like to thank my co-host, Barry – from Cinematic Catharsis – and huge thanks to those of you who have joined us so far, with you lovely 7 bloggers adding more than a few movies to my to find and watch list.

So please know Day 1 entrants that all your posts have been read and commented on both last night and this morning Finnish time… I’ve promoted your tributes on Facebook and Mastodon too. Thanks once again, for your terrific posts featuring spooky dolls, vampires, noir or sci-fi elements, zombies, a good guy horror role from Christopher Lee and a Vincent Price opening track… and my own post with an exclusive from our regular Hammer contributor, the lovely actress Judy Matheson. All these Day 1 entries can be found HERE

Anyone who has entered a post with a Mastodon or Facebook handle please do send me your details, unless I have promoted your post with these handles already… If you want to join us in this Hammer and Amicus themed blogathon, we still have plenty of films to be reviewed, or TV to be explored with the blogathon’s details HERE and who’s doing what page HERE… Please note we will not be promoting or adding links to old posts or duplicates.

Barry and I are in the planning stages for two upcoming blogathons for 2024 and the good news for you is that we have two more planned. With these two, with one topic from Barry and one from me, it would be lovely to have you join us for one or both of these…  and watch this space as we will keep you in suspense for these topics until approximately two months before the first day.

Now for those blogathon entries for today. Please do remember, if you are in the Coming Soon entries, that we will add your entries if tell us if you are going to be late or even if life has intervened and you just can’t. Also, it’s okay not to do one in the latter case… it’s not homework and we won’t be telling all regarding those personal reasons you can’t attend.

So what have we got today.. so far six, but time will tell… Remember to click on those blue links to reach the reviews…
