Hi Gill, I’d like to do “Green Grow the Rushes” (1951), if possible. Thanks!

Before you end up giving that third spot to someone else could you put me down for The Robe? Sorry to be impatient about it…:-)

Hi, Gill! OK, I have a couple of possibilities, so I wanted to get your thoughts: The Lifetime movie, “Liz and Dick,” (although that review may have a lot of pointing and laughing because it’s a Lifetime movie), or “Cleopatra.” Which one do you think would work? I also found a book about Burton and Taylor’s relationship, so if I do “Liz and Dick” it could be a separation of fact from fiction. Let me know, because I’m a wee bit torn. 🙂

A wee bit torn lassie? Great to see the wee in your post. If you meaning Furious Love as the book that sounds fantastic. Love to hear your thoughts on this biopic especially if your post will be as your describe.

LOL, I thought you’d like that! Yeah, I think we’ll go with Furious Love and the Lifetime movie–it’s a little bit outside the box. Cool, that’ll work. 🙂

I love that idea as read this book ages ago and loved it – inspired me to buy his diaries (on the still to read pile). And love to know just how accurate this film is as biopics go. Looking forward to reading your post…

Cool, that’s great! I’m looking forward to reading it now. I’m not expecting much because the movie’s from Lifetime, but who knows? 🙂

Understand how you feel – but then most biopics seem to be really hit or miss… especially if it has a disclaimer…

Yeah, that’s the first clue that something might be amiss, lol.

Hi, bit of an odd choice here but I can please do ‘Reluctant Travelling Companion,’ an episode of cheesy 80s’ action show The Fall Guy in which Burton appears as himself? It’s one of his last screen performances and plays around with his image as a legendary hellraiser. Stumbled across it while flicking through channels in a hotel room and didn’t quite know what to make of it.

No problem, always love those totally random guest star posts so love you to do this. May have to check it out too, you had my attention at The Fall Guy (my sister has had a major crush on Lee Majors since this series). Will add you now!
